100% natural = 100% sustainable

"We believe furniture should be as meaningful as it is beautiful. Our collections are crafted from 100% sustainable hemp and designed to elevate interiors with purpose and elegance".

Materials

Our products are crafted from hempcrete and natural lime plaster, two breathable, sustainable materials that work in harmony.

Hempcrete combines hemp fibers with a lime binder to create a lightweight, breathable and durable material. We use a FSC wooden structure inside the hempcrete to give it more structural strength. The hempcrete is finished with 3 layers of lime plaster.

Production Process

The production of our hempcrete furniture begins by mixing hemp shives with hydrated and hydraulic lime, combined with water to create the hempcrete blend. This mixture is carefully poured into a mould. During this rendering process, we embed a wooden structural core inside the hempcrete to enhance strength and stability.

Once shaped, the piece is set aside to dry. Lime requires time to gain strength through natural carbonation and evaporation, so we allow the material to cure slowly and properly.

When the moisture level is low enough, we begin plastering. The first layer is a reinforced lime Base Coat, which provides structure. Next comes the Float Coat, applied to level and refine the surface. The final Finish Coat delivers the smooth outer layer. After all coats have fully cured, we lightly sand the surface. We embrace perfect imperfections, aiming not for a flawless polished finish, but for a natural texture that reflects the material’s character.

To complete the piece, we apply two layers of non‑toxic sealer, making the surface water‑ and scratch‑resistant and ensuring it can withstand everyday use.
