Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Cretura Living, every piece of furniture is handmade with care. We appreciate your patience as we craft and deliver your unique items. Below you will find all the details regarding our production times, shipping methods, and delivery policies across Europe.
1. Production vs. Shipping Time
Curing Time of Lime & Hempcrete
Our furniture is crafted using natural hempcrete. Lime-based materials require sufficient time to cure and harden naturally, which is essential for achieving their final strength and durability. Because curing is influenced by temperature, humidity, and composition, production times may vary. This is why our lead times are approximate and may extend during colder or more humid periods. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
- Production Time: The time it takes us to build your furniture.
-
Made-to-order items: Typically 2-8 weeks. (Please check the specific product page for exact estimates).
- Shipping Time: The time the courier takes to deliver the item to your door after it leaves our workshop.
Total Delivery Time = Production Time + Shipping Time.

3. Delivery Methods

- The driver will unload the pallet/crate at the pavement (sidewalk) or the nearest accessible point to your building.
- The driver will NOT carry the furniture inside your home, upstairs, or unpack it.
- Please ensure you have assistance available to move the furniture inside.
4. Important: Receiving Your Delivery
Please read carefully to ensure you are covered in case of shipping damage.
Furniture is heavy and fragile. While we pack extremely securely, damage can rarely occur in transit.
- Inspect the Packaging: Before signing the delivery receipt, check the outside of the box/pallet for any signs of damage (tears, crushed corners, holes).
- Note Damages: If you see any damage to the packaging, you MUST write "DAMAGED" clearly on the proof of delivery (POD) slip the driver asks you to sign.
- Refuse if Destroyed: If the furniture is clearly destroyed, refuse the shipment and contact us immediately.
- Concealed Damage: If you find damage after unpacking, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage and the packaging.
Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt may prevent us from filing a claim with the carrier and offering you a free replacement.
5. Delayed Orders
While we strive to meet all deadlines, handmade production can occasionally be delayed by material shortages or curing times. If your order is delayed by more than [5] business days, we will contact you via email with a new estimated delivery date.
